Dr Sophie Thérèse Ambler is a medieval historian, author and broadcaster who works across television and radio as an expert historian, presenter and historical consultant. She specialises in the history of Britain, Europe and the Crusades, with particular interests in warfare, politics, rebellion, Magna Carta and medieval power.

She explores the past through its people, places and surviving evidence, working with archives, archaeology, objects and historic landscapes.
